Henry Phillips Barn Restoration Update - July 20

The latest phase of the barn restoration began in mid-June with the arrival of a three-man crew from Baker Barn and Home Restoration of Lambertville. The first task was to replace rotting posts and straighten those that had gone out of plumb. The rest of the porject involves converting the working barn into a threshing floor, with large swinging doors on the north and south walls that will allow wagons to drive through. Loose hay will be stored above the floor. The project is scheulded to be completed by the end of July.
